Cannot open AVI

Hi
Whenever i try to do an update, i get the messsage "cannot open AVI"
I've re-installed the program but i still get the same error message.:mad:
Anybody got any ideas?

I've never heard of the problem before, so it is certainly not a common problem.

Is this a possible cause?
If not, please provide some pertinent information so that someone can possibly help you determine the cause of the problem:
  • Spybot version?
  • OS you are running?
  • Update experience:
    • Is the first time I have ever tried a Spybot update?
    • Have you successfully updated in the past and this is a newly encountered problem?
      • If so, what changes have you made to your system since the last successful update?
  • Exactly when do you get the error message, i.e. when you:
    • "Search for updates"?
    • Attempt to "Download updates"?
    • Etc.
 
It could be that your computer is infected with a worm or virus.

So I sujest you check for that. If you use the kaaza program you need to check every day for viruses and worms. Thats an easy way to get infected.

Every time I try to update it gives the same messenger "Cannot open AVI"! What shoud I do!?
