ok - sorry didnt know it was in wrong place-
since moved-this prob is when i start up the trojan launches firefox in background-spybot says its fake.wget and bifrose.la trojan.

Thanks to AndyManchesta we have a fix that should get rid of it for you, follow the directions:
Download SDFix (http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe) and save it to your Desktop.

Double click SDFix.exe and choose Install to extract it to its own folder on the Desktop. Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
Choose your usual account.

Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
It will remove any Trojan Services or Registry Entries found then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt.
Finally copy and paste the contents of the results file Report.txt back onto the forum with a new HijackThis log

Thank You-Alot-yes I missed post at top because I did a Google search on topic and came to forum from that rather than coming here on my own but I will follow the proper procedure next time.but I allready solved the issue the hard way;wiped the hard drive-reinstalled windows-it has been a rough month-started from a power outage at the time i didnt have a UPS and fried my motherboard(power off and on twice real fast)after repairs and reinstalling i picked up a different hijacker digging for program replacements i didnt have installers for-so i allready wiped/reinstalled for that-only had a few programs back in when i picked up this one from a bogus patch.exe.i'll be donating to spybot again-and thanks again for reply-I use spybot and 2 other anti-vir/antispy progs and 1 other antispy-they all removed it till next startup.
no more reinstalls for me-I know where to come now lol-kudos:bigthumb:

Sorry to hear about all of your problems. I remember frying two dial up modems in years past before I opened the instruction book and installed a good surge protector:sad: Us guys are all the same, we like to get lost and to learn the hard way...lol Here is some information that may help prevent some problems for you.
