View Full Version : Is it Spybot Search & Destroy, (loosing logins)
I sometimes do "cleanup Sundays) when I run a few spyware programmes. As I almost exclusively use Opera (9.00 Build 8502) the results tend to be a clean report. However I've lost all my logins and now have to use Ctrl+enter on sites that used to log me on automatically. I suspect that it is Spybot search & destroy, Ver 1.4 Updated 2006-10-27, that is causing this.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Is there a way to avoid this happening?

Hello,
That is if you als clean usage tracks and cookis with Spybot Search and Destroy.
Please run Spybot-S&D and switch to "Advanced mode" via the menu bar item "Mode". Now select "Settings" --> "File Sets" in the navigation bar on the left. The checkboxes in front of "Usage tracking" and "tracks.uti" have to be unticked if you do not want to find usage tracks anymore.
Best regards

Thanks. Those settings are unchecked. However when I did this I don't know. :red:
Maybe you know why I have continue entering manually at each visit.
Has Spybot S&D "immunized" Opera from getting "infected" with autologin cookies?
I'm just guessing and failry green  in the area of cookies and autologins,
( green  in a lot of other areas as well.)
