Freezing PC

My own experience last week.

After trying quite a few suggestions from the forum to
resolve my problem of PC freezing each time I tried to
run "Check For Problems".

It would run for a minute or so, and then completely
shut down my PC.

Finealy, I went to my PC repair shop for help.

Result - they relaced the Power Supply and now
all is ok.

This may not be your way to resolve your problem,
but it worked for me.
