I have copied and pasted a panda online scan result as well as a hi-jack this log.
I would be grateful if someone can look at these and give me advice on how to remove whatever is effecting my pc.

Thank you very much,
Jaspertx

Welcome to the forum, I see no Smitfraud (zlob) we will check for it, but I do see a Wareout infection. You are also running an out of date version of ewido. We will update and use that. Follow these instruction.

1) Thanks to S!Ri, and any others who helped with this fix.

Please download SmitfraudFix (http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip) (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/proc...processutil.htm (http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/processutil/processutil.htm)

2) Thanks to LonnyBJones and anyone else who helped with this fix.

Download FixWareout from one of these sites:

http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your Desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, HijackThis will launch. Please click Scan, and check the following items:
O16 - DPF: {DF780F87-FF2B-4DF8-92D0-73DB16A1543A} (PopCapLoader Object) - http://zone.msn.com/bingame/dim2/def...ploader_v6.cab
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{382D8769-37B5-44B6-8AE0-1C8F223CFC32}: NameServer = 85.255.115.21,85.255.112.213
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.21 85.255.112.213

O17 - HKLM\System\CS3\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.21 85.255.112.213

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.21 85.255.112.213

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer and post the report from Smitfraudfix, the report from Fixwareout and a new HJT log.

As soon as you post that information, then follow the instructions in this link carefully. You will update to the new program and run it exactly as instructed. Make sure you delete or at least quarantine what it locates unless you know something is not bad. I will do you no good to ignore items located.

Thanks to John McKenna for the tutorial
Post the results of that scan as soon as you have them.

Thanks

Your Java program is out of date and a security risk, see this information:
http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2 Please uninstall all old versions of the program and install the newest.

Those 017 Wareout lines are still in your HJT log? Did you use HJT to remove them. Here is what they are.
http://whois.domaintools.com/85.255.115.21 <<< those are the Ukrainians who hacked your computer. Let's try gain.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O16 - DPF: {DF780F87-FF2B-4DF8-92D0-73DB16A1543A} (PopCapLoader Object) - http://zone.msn.com/bingame/dim2/def...ploader_v6.cab
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{382D8769-37B5-44B6-8AE0-1C8F223CFC32}: NameServer = 85.255.115.21,85.255.112.213
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.21 85.255.112.213
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\..\{382D8769-37B5-44B6-8AE0-1C8F223CFC32}: NameServer = 85.255.115.21,85.255.112.213
O17 - HKLM\System\CS3\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.21 85.255.112.213
O17 - HKLM\System\CS3\Services\Tcpip\..\{382D8769-37B5-44B6-8AE0-1C8F223CFC32}: NameServer = 85.255.115.21,85.255.112.213
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.115.21 85.255.112.213

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

This program is still in the HJT log:
C:\Program Files\ewido anti-spyware 4.0\guard.exeSee this: http://www.ewido.net/en/
ewido anti-spyware 4.0 has been replaced by AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 and isn't available for sale and download anymore (under the old name). Instead, please try our new, highly improved version: AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5

Follow these direction:
http://www.virusvault.co.uk/fusionbb...ic.php?tid/33/
Thanks to John McKenna for the tutorial
Post the results of that scan as soon as you have them.

Thanks

Pskelly,
I removed line 016 and the 6 line 017 wareout items. I guess I posted the HJT report before I removed the lines.
I will remove the ewido program and replace it with AVG anti spyware 7.5

Do I need to register on McKenna's site www.virusvault.co.uk?

Sincerely, Jasper

The new AVG scan result is below. It showed the downloader.zlob.aty to be in the computer. I hit the apply all reccommended actions and it deleted it.
This does mean it is not infecting my pc, correct?

Phil,
Here is the HJT log as requested. I've noticed there is a lot more space on my C drive after running the ATF cleaner. Thank you for taking the time to help me out.

I forgot to answer your question about John McKenna's website but registration is free and there is a wealth of information available there.

The HJT log looks fine, let's clean System Restore files like this:
System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001111912274039?Open&src=sec_doc_nam

Uninstall or delete the tools we used, you may keep ATF-Cleaner, here is a tutorial:
http://forums.security-central.us/showthread.php?t=1925

AVG Anti-Spyware is your call, I would keep the free scanner if I were you, updates are also free.
AVG Anti-Spyware is a good program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.

Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:

Im Glad we could help
Since the problems are solved Im going to close the topic now, this keeps others with similar problems from posting there logs/question here, they should start a new topic.
If you should need to post another log for the same PC let one of us know via a PM (personal message).
