HI murtaza and welcome to Safer Networking Forums :)
You got some infections there...
Please Download NoLop to your desktop from one of the links below...
Link 1 (http://www.spywareedge.net/nolop/NoLop.exe)
Link 2 (http://www.spywaretimes.com/Tools/download/21/chk,ed0778d88843ca2625ab6208a197bcc5/)
Link 3 (http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item16)
First close any other programs you have running as this will require a reboot
Double click NoLop.exe to run it
Now click the button labelled "Search and Destroy"
<<your computer will now be scanned for infected files>>
When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, Click OK
Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log along with a fresh HijackThis log
--If you receive an error, "mscomctl.ocx or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered," please download mscomctl.ocx (http://www.boletrice.com/downloads/mscomctl.ocx) to your system32 folder then rerun the program.--
:bigthumb:
Ok, I ran the NoLop and it found an infection and restarted, said it was repaired but I'm still getting the ad.firstadsolution. Hijackthis and NoLop is attached below:

Hi again, we'll continue :)
You seem to have this Viewpoint program installed. It has a suspicious reputation and I recommend we remove it.
If you want to keep it, just skip the blue steps...
You are using DAP which is not technically malware, but it may include malware and allow it into your system. You can find Safer Alternatives (http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php?cat=dlman#dlman). We'll remove it.

Thank you Mr_JAk3, I think that did it. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Hi again, it is looking clean now :)
You seem to have this WeatherBug program installed. It has a suspicious reputation and I recommend that you uninstall it through Control Panel, Add/Remove programs

You can remove the tools we used.
Then you should update your Java to the latest version (5.0 update 9) Start

Delete the old Java, J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 9 (http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp).
Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications."
Click the "Download" button to the right.
Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement."
The page will refresh.
Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
