I've been playing Halo for AGES now and used to get at least 30FPS.

But recently I've been getting 9FPS and large slowdowns in pretty much every program.

My Hijackthis reprt (If it is any use):-

Sorry, but can sombody PLEASE help me?

I've got a suspicious-looking program called "ap_admin.exe" running which randomly takes up 50% of the CPU power and then goes back down to 0%

Hello.
A helper will assist you as soon as available.
You started your topic today, many malware removal forums have a 3-5 day waiting period as the influx of people with infected computers outweighs the number of volunteer helpers.
Meanwhile, had you followed the procedure here?
Before you post a log (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)
Fyi, usually helpers look for new topics with zero posts which indicate the member has not received advice as yet.
Cheers. :)

Nothing but PUP's (Possibly unwanted programs) to do with Gamespy Arcade.

But Uninstalling Keiro Personal Firewall VIA Add/Remove programs seems to have fixed it. (If you look at the HJT log you see Keiro Firewall trying to start but being unable to find the .exe file)

I also fixed me being unable to play videos in WMP and Winamp and IrfanView by using McAfee firewall and setting the Internet Acess for it to inbound only.

I think I fixed it...
I'll put another HJT log...
*Runs HJT*

Good to here that game problem is sorted, any other problems ?

No problems that I know of, but what is "WinPcap" ?

It's been in the program files place for ages and it keeps re-appearing in the Add/Remove programs place even when I have uninstalled it...

Otherwise, all is fine.

Name Remote Packet Capture Protocol v.0 (experimental)
Command rpcapd.exe
Status L
Description Related to Winpcap (Windows Packet Capture Library)

"L" - Legitimate

A program upi installed perhaps ?
