I'm not certain but I think Spybot is blocking my access to linkshare.com

How does one check which sites the tool is blocking?

I do not believe it's Spybot.

Do you use either the MVPS Hosts or hpHosts file?

The MVPS Hosts file contains the following entry:
127.0.0.1 www.linkshare.com
The hpHosts file contains the following entries:
127.0.0.1 directory.linkshare.com
127.0.0.1 imap.linkshare.com
127.0.0.1 linkshare.com
127.0.0.1 mail.linkshare.com
127.0.0.1 newsletter.linkshare.com

thanks for the tip. It was in my hosts file. An old installation of Kazaa Lite Supertrick had been blocking it out!
