Hello,
I am a computer technician who works in refurbishing computers. Each computer that goes out is loaded with Windows 2000. 2-3 weeks ago we were having no problem with spybot on our master drives that we use to copy to the computers. Recently we have been having some BIG problems with it.

1: Whenever we start it up it always goes to the tools section *no picture available

2: It won't let us update becase no server is set, and when you go to choose a server there is none. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v380/Chronoegg/problem1.jpg

3: However, those to problems pale in comparison to when we try to do a scan. Whenever we try one we get this. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v380/Chronoegg/problem2.jpg

This has happened everytime we try to use it, we have also uninstalled and reinstalled the program and even deleted what was in the Documents and Settings folders.

This is become quite a problem for us.

You and Anthony A (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=10592). See the following (I hope it helps):
New install, very strange behaviour.

You must start the update process by going into Spybot > Update > clicking "Search for Updates". When you click "Search for Updates" Spybot attempts to download the following file (Spybot-S&D 1.4):
http://www.safer-networking.org/updates/spybotsd.ini
The spybotsd.ini file contains a list of available updates and servers. Until that file is downloaded successfully and processed the "No server selected" button will not change to a server list because list of update servers is not available to the program.

Try the update process again. Go into Spybot > Update (left pane) > on the Update screen click the "Search for Updates" button (right pane).

I don't have the foggiest idea, I don't recall ever see that before. If you are successful in correcting the other two (2) problems and are still experiencing the third problem, post back and we'll try to figure out that one.

Unfortunately, none of that helped. I am not using a USB Mouse I'm using a PS2 mouse, and have also tried changing them, and got no results. I have tried to download updates, but it keeps saying that it has the most recent updates.
