I dont use the built in update tool to download the updates. After I download I insure the MD5 checksum is okay before installing it. The most recent update has an incorrect checksum. I have tried downloading the file on three different pc's each with independent connection to the internet but they all yeild the same result. Please look into this and advise. Snapshot "gif" attached.

That screenshot is too small to recognize anything ;)
Could you give me the checksum you get?
I'll check the logs, since I noticed the same; maybe because of some recent changes... would guess that it's the checksum before codesigning the updates, but will know more soon.

It appears that SnYdersid is correct. The information from the Downloads (http://www.spybot.info/en/download/index.html) page indicates:
Detection updates 2006-12-01 - product description
md5: 032D709F2C4A6341CCBA678CF61DB12D
The spybotsd_includes file that gets downloaded appears to have:
md5: 52359E878BBDDF87E0FC0FADC832B1AD

Sorry about the small screenshot but that is the best I could get for the upload limit on this forum. At any rate here's the md5 checksum ...

S&D Website:-
md5: 032D709F2C4A6341CCBA678CF61DB12D
Hashtab computed:-
MD5 - 52359E878BBDDF87E0FC0FADC832B1AD

Yes, I checked and noticed that indeed the checksum output was from before the codesigning, not afterwards. That was mixed up when I made some changes Thursday, sorry for the confusion. Website updated and in the future the correct information will be avail asap again ;)

Thanks team spybot. :bigthumb:

I seek updates manually and with that in mind I would like to know if I missed updates for a few weeks and then downloaded only the latest from your download site will I be getting all the one I missed or is it only that particular instance? If it is that one particular instance how do I get all the ones that I missed? Is there a way to tell what updates I have missed if at all?

Appreciate your help.
