Welcome to the forum, possibly you missed the information pinned to the top of the forum for your benefit, this one is very important:
"BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps and scanning with SPYBOT-S&D
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
I suggest you review all of the information, but this one is key:
1) Run an on-line Anti Virus scan.

I see a lot of stuff I do not know but none of it looks like malware, and you have provided scant information. Please make an effort to describe these popups, are they occuring when online as well as off? Where or what product are they directing you to. Are you receiving any error messages? If so, post them "word for word"

You have an obsolete spyware program, uninstall: ewido anti-malware It was recently purchased by Grisoft, and they released a new version. Download it from this link:
http://forums.security-central.us/showthread.php?t=3165
Follow all instruction to update and run, make sure you delete or at least quarantine anything located.

To recap:
post some information
post a antivirus scan
post the scan results from AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5
Make sure you reboot before creating and posting a new HJT log.
Use the "Post reply" button to stay in this same topic.

Thanks

Thanks for the info.
To clear up a few points that you asked;
They only come up whilst on line. They tend to be of topic related links to my surfing. Travel that sort of thing. Then if I am just sending emails the message that I have a security problems and my computer is at risk etc.
For the moment no error messages that I can remember. Just your computer is infected.
Exido was asking me for payment for the antispyware. As the pop ups were of this kind I didn't want to follow through with payements.
I have norton Antivirus but that detects nothing.
I used to use AVG on my old computer. A great thing. The norton thing came with the new comp.
Do you think it is a good idea to use avg and let norton go?
If so I will down load that and post the log.
Thanks for the guidance.

I appreciate the feedback, If the popups are gender specific to the site you are surfing only, then you may need a popup blocker? That is something you may wish to look at.

The program I am pointing you to, if you will look at the link,
http://forums.security-central.us/showthread.php?t=3165
has nothing to do with antivirus as does your Norton. It is a program that ferets out malware fairly well that takes the place of ewido which Grisoft purchased and no longer supports.

Several good online antivirus scan are mention here,
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
I am looking for another opinion besides that of your Norton. Once I see the results of that scan, the results of the AVG Anti-Spyware scan and a new HJT log, I will be in a better position to advise you.

I hope this information helps...thanks
