Config - XP , AOL high speed, multiple accounts.
Logged in as admin.
Ran Spybot update.
Disabled network connection.
Used Spybot advanced mode>Tools>System Startup to disable all Startup items (avoid using msconfig)
Ran Spybot with settings>file sets> all options checked.
Restarted in safe mode. (f8 key --tap slowly at start up)
Ran Spybot again.
Enabled TeaTimer Tools>Resident>TeaTimer (what a great tool!)
Did selective enabling of Startup items.
Restarted.
No further issues to date.
