Does Spybot support Windows Vista 64 bit OS? A lot of antivirus/spyware software that I have tried to install on my system refuses to install because it states that it is not meant for this OS and exits out.

Yes it does. See the sticky topic about TeaTimer; the beta download there includes a Vista Security Center integration even :) For all the rest, there are only minor things left (e.g. editing Secondary Startpages of IE7 is currently not implemented, and the IE plugin will only work for the 32 bit version of IE). And we're still improving support (since right now Spybot-S&D immediately requires admin privileges, showing you the User Access Control dialog).
