My computer has been doing wierd things, so
I just downloaded Spybot: Search and Destroy and it detected a few different problems:
1. Microsoft Windows Security Center Firewall Disabl: 1 entry
2. Microsoft Word Security Center AntiVirus Disab: 1 entry
3. Wild Tangent: 4 entries

I am told now to push the "fix the selected problems" button and I cannot find it! In addition, I have Windows XP and Microsoft Word so I am nervous about those problems, plus I also have Zone Alarm Security Suite (which I ran earlier today)

The 'fix selected problems button' is greyed out until you checkmark something to be fixed. It should be between the Check For Problems button and the Print button.
Please see here about Windows Security Center:
http://www.spybot.info/en/faq/46.html

p.s.I think the number two would be Microsoft Windows(not Word)Security Center Antivirus Disable Notify. Can you have another look at it?

Posting for pastelli:

After I did select the "Wild Tangent" problem , I could not see the "check for problems" button.(I did press the Search and Destroy" logo to initiate the search - which was right above the binoculars). These were directly about the search results, not on the left hand side or the menu bar at the very top.

I am sorry that I do not know how to post a reply to your reply - every time I tried, the screen told me to sign in - I kept going in circles...., so I hhope you don't mind me writing directly to you
