hi gentlemen.
been reading your forum all day. anyhow, looks like i have "WINFIXER 2005" popups blinking all over the place. pretty much it shuts down my internet explorer nowadays. :mad:
earlier today i installed spybot & spyware dr and still unable to remove.

Welcome to the forum

Your running Hijackthis from a temp and it still hasnt been unzipped, neither is a good idea.
Create a new folder, for instance C:\AntiSpyware
Download the exe from here to that new folder.
http://www.merijn.org/files/HijackThis.exe
This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong
Make and post a new log

my computer now does not seem to start up anymore. achk!!! anyhow, i'm goin to take it into the computer store down the block. they told me that they should have it back in a jiffy.
