Spybot S&D 1.4 is finding and supposedly removing 8 of 9 files for Hotsearchbar (1 file) and SaferSurfer (8 files) these two files. The ninth file (safer surfer) is removed upon restarting and rerunning spy bot before startup.
The files reappear later and the pop ups continue (mostly porn, this is a work laptop so you can see the issue here). Please note that I do empty the temp internet files and temp folder for the user. I've also used a registry repair program to fix any issues. I also have hijackthis, but am unable to determine what needs to go.
I've tried googling them both on how to remove them. This is probably my last attempt before backing up the machine and reformatting, but to avoid that hassle I'd like to see if anyone here can help me out with this.
