Hello
My machine has got these two viruses appearing after startup and all the help available on the internet seems to be completely user specific. Could you help me get rid of these two and if possible post some generic advice for everyone else since it seems to be such a common problem?
Thanks in advance for any consideration given to this request
Please find below my hijack this log. I didn't remove the malware before saving the log, I don't know if I should have done. I did shut down all internet services beforehand:

Hello and welcome to the forum, Please follow these directions.

1) Thanks to andymanchesta and anyone else who helped with the fix.

Download SDFix (http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe) and save it to your Desktop.

Double click SDFix.exe and choose Install to extract it to its own folder on the Desktop. Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
Choose your usual account.

Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
It will remove any Trojan Services or Registry Entries found then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt.
Finally copy and paste the contents of the results file Report.txt back onto the forum with a new HijackThis log

(Hold those logs until we finish)

2) Follow the directions in this link:
http://forums.security-central.us/showthread.php?t=3165

Make sure you restart your computer and post the Report.txt from SDFix, the scan results from AVG Anti-Spyware and a new HJT log. Let me know how the computer is performing now.

Thanks

Excellent thank you very much, both problems have dissappeared first time with no immediate splinter problems. God willing I'll not need to trouble you again this year so Merry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year.

Thanks for your kind thoughts and the Holiday wishes. I would really appreciate being able to be sure your computer is clean, that is the reason for these instructions:

Make sure you restart your computer and post the Report.txt from SDFix, the scan results from AVG Anti-Spyware and a new HJT log. Let me know how the computer is performing now.

Thanks

Towards the end of a cleanup please make sure you follow through with any final log requested even if it appears to you that your computer is back to normal operation.
As much as we like our members ;) we would rather not see you back in a few weeks because there was no follow up with the helper.
