Hi,
AVG anti-virus detected a trojan on my computer. It seemed as though it was contained and asked to reboot to complete healing, but now the computer shuts down before rebooting.

I am able to boot in safe mode have run AVG anti virus in safe mode with the same results.

I have also scanned with Spybot S&D and ewido with nothing found.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks !

I am running another AVG scan.

Looks like the file name associated with the problem is winlogon.exe

Good morning

Looks like the problem is too big for me to handle. I've got professional help on the way this morning.

Sorry to be a bother, but in the past I've had pretty good luck dealing with this stuff myself by getting online advice. Looks like this one is just too much though.

Thanks !
