Okay this problem is pretty unique. On my desktop computer I have installed an evaluation version of Windows Vista. Yea it's pretty cool and all. The problem is that recently my douchebag of a friend installed some malware named "Virus Bursters" onto that computer. This is whats happening:
- Restarts Windows Explorer every 5 seconds so that I can't use the start menu or any applications other than IE.
- When I attempt to use Internet Explorer it directs me to their website. And whenever I type in another address it always redirects me back to their website.
- It constantly shows popups telling me to purchase some kind of anti-spyware software.
- When I attempt to restart in safe mode, it says my Administrator account has been disabled and my Other account has a username and password that I never assigned. So I cannot log into safe mode.
- I tried running Windows Defender (a new antivirus program on Vista) and it found nothing.
What should I do? I have a lot of music and games saved on that computer and I absolutely need a solution. Thanks for reading.
