My OS: WinME.
When I comleted my update on 12/08/06, I wound up with 13 blocked products less than before, i.e. 3809 vs. 3796.
The required immunization before and after the update was taken care of.
There always were additional product numbers, not reduced, after an update.
Why this phenomenon?

webster72n,

There always were additional product numbers, not reduced, after an update.
Incorrect. There are usually higher immunization counts. A reduction in the count has happened several times in the past and has even been noted before:
Immunize changed went down

If I am correct (note these counts only apply to Windows 98/98SE/ME):
3809 – 9 – 18 + 14 = 3796

Thanks for the explanation, Spybot Team.
I am much relieved and richer in experience, since I wasn't aware of this ever happening before.
You said "incorrect" to what I stated as exactly the same as your correct version, namely that the count is higher after the update.
At any rate your enlightenment is very much appreciated.

You're welcome.

You said "incorrect" to what I stated as exactly the same as your correct version, namely that the count is higher after the update.
You stated:

I stated:

Incorrect. There are usually higher immunization counts.
Not to belabor the point, but there is a difference between "always" and "usually". A reduction in the count has occurred at least 3 times (4/21/2006, 6/10/2006 and 12/8/2006) in the last 33 weeks and that is not "always".

Sorry to have missed your point, I apologize.
I simply wasn't aware of the "usually" vs. "always" situation and stand fully corrected, thank you, as well as for the support you provided.
