Its taking hours for sypbot to run

I started spybot at 11:00 am and it is now 3:15pm and spybot is only about 75% done. my system is running slower than it ever has ( befor running spybot )

I have a amd 64 3400 and 2 gigs of ddr ram on a Msi mother board. I just reloaded the computer last sunday. I loaded the programs I normaly use ( photoshop, office, etc. and no problem. Went to microsofts website and yahoo and then went to bed. Got up and the computer is running so slow that I decided to do a reboot and it didnt help. (My old 266 ran faster that this)

Aside form reloading the computer again can anyone help? what should I or can I do????

I found out what is was

I read some other post and found out about a trojan and they listed a software called Fixwareout. and ya know what .... it worked and now my computer works good again.... thanks for a great site
