lacrima

Hello all together,
I'm running AntiVir, SpyBot and ZoneAlarm (all freeware) on my Windows XP - PC.
2 days ago I checked my PC by SpyBot and it told me, everything was ok. But when I scanned it by AntiVir I received the warning that dialer.generic.exe had been found on my computer and asked me what to do with it.
I decided to remove it and to put a copy into the virus vault but I don't trust in it. I'm not a PC specialist and I'm writing my exams at the moment so I'm in a hurry and I've only little time to care for it but I need my computer so much (as everybody does). I'm afraid of using the internet on my computer now because I'm using an analogue modem with changing connection providers (freenet, msn, arcor) and no DSL. My browser is IE 7.0.
Can I remove the dialer with SpyBot although SpyBot didn't find it on my computer? Is there any tool I can use without being afraid of ruining my notebook (I have no idea of logfiles or anything like that) or just to be sure it has really been removed?
Thanx so much for any answer.
lacrima (nearly desperated)
