Hey guys,

I'd appreciate some help, my comp started to boot up really slowly yesterday and now he keeps crashing after a few minutes. The 'shutdown -a' keeps him from rebooting now, but there must be something wrong. I did all kind of scans, but nothing. I found the lzx32.sys and removed it with the sophos rootkit. Sometimes I got an error message in ..\system32\services.exe with statuscode 204.
Here's my hijack log, mabye someone could help:

Hello Gunther and welcome to the forum, have you resolved your issues? If not take a look at this information concerning lzx32.sys:
http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-070513-1305-99&tabid=2
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2006-16,GGLG:en&q=lzx32%2esys+

If your issue is resolved, that great. If not then you need to supply me with more information that you have. You would start like this:
"BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288

Read and complete all of those instructions, post the required online scan report and a new HJT log. Please supply as much detail as possible, include the error messages you receive "word or word", that would be a start.

Thanks

tashi
