This might be pure coincidence, but after a week of not being able to download updates in SD1.5.2 and trying everything I could think of, I redownloaded Javacool's Spyblaster. Voila. Everything works. One question though. Why are 7 items unable to be immunized against?

Hi Corday,

Run spybot S&D with administrative rights (for administrative rights in windows vista see faq) and then immunize spybot.

If that does not work then undo the immunization, then immunize again.

I got the famous "no updates available" when I knew there were some.

Second Immunization worked. All protected now.
