No, I don't think you can disable Live Protection for individual applications.
You can make decisions on items found by Live Protection, but I believe that is on items deemed potentially harmful only, in which case the item is blocked, and you are prompted on what you want done in the future, Cancel, Quarantine, Block, or Allow.
