"This application was unable to start correctrly :0xc000142"

Was having issues with my computer yesterday and tried to run spybot. For some reason the front screen icon is missing so I selected it from my menu and it said I needed to update the software so I moved forward with it. It rand for a little bit and then the screen went black. I tried several times to reboot this computer but it wouldn't so I unplugged all power and let it sit overnight.
Today when I try to run spybot I keep getting this error message: SDSacan.exe Application error This application was unable to start correctrly :0xc000142). Click to close this application.

Please name the operating system.

Which version/edition of Spybot was installed and did you run as administrator.
