The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Win32.Agent.hjo" manually.

Description:

Win32.Agent.hjo copies itself into the system folder of the operating system. It claims to be an update for the Internet Explorer.If the user agrees to install these updates his Internet Explorer gets hijacked to webpages with adult content.

Removal Instructions:

Desktop:

Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

• Shortcuts named "Guardami.lnk" and pointing to "filesize>=700,filesize<=800,md5=66313E9D7FB1AD22B79B885EB0E6F7E0".

Important: There are more desktop links that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Start Menu:

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

• The file at "<$DESKTOP>\Porno Amatoriale Gratis.lnk".
• The file at "<$SYSDIR>\winsvc\svc\etc.exe".
• The file at "<$SYSDIR>\winsvc\svc\etc.exe".
• The file at "<$STARTMENU>\Sexy Video.lnk".
• The file at "<$SYSDIR>\anoiz.pbk".
• The file at "<$SYSDIR>\gratis.pbk".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Win32.Agent.hjo uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

• Delete the registry key "{0CE836D2-7186-4737-8A75-F4F90C69A9A5}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\".
• Delete the registry key "{16C7013F-912E-42ac-AA8E-A10A180DFF51}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\".
• Delete the registry key "{16C7013F-912E-42ac-AA8E-A10A180DFF51}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\".

If Win32.Agent.hjo uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.

Browser:
