Updating spybot live cd

Hello,

I just recently bought an ISO image to use on my stationary computer who seems to be quite infected with something. I've burned the ISO to a cd on a clean laptop. Booted the CD from BIOS and proceeded to updating the software. Now, here's my problem:

1. If you buy the ISO image you get nearly no instructions on how to use it. Please include some form of manual (like a PDF or .txt or anything really).

2. When i try to update spybot from the bootable CD i get an error message: "Error retrieving update info file!". I've tried to connect the computer directly to internet (bypassing routers and firewalls) but i still get the same error.

3. Kind of linked to the first and second problem: I intend to use the CD on an infected computer with no network or internet connection, thus I assume I will have to download some virus definitions from somewhere and store it on an USB-stick. Is there any instructions on how to do that with the live-CD somewhere?
