Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

• Entries named "TV Media".
• Entries named "TV Media" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\TV Media\Tvm.exe".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.

• Products that have a key or property named "TV Media".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

• The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\TV Media\TvmBho.dll".
• The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\TV Media\TvmCore.dll".
• A file with an unknown location named "tvmupdater4bp5.exe".
• The file at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\tvmuknwrd.dll".
• The file at "<$WINDIR>\tvmm.exe".
• The file at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\tvmupdater.exe".
• A file with an unknown location named "tvmm.exe".
• The file at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\tvmknwrd.dll".
• The file at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\tvmcwrd.dll".
• The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\TV Media\Tvm.exe".
• The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\TV Media\TvmBho.dll".
• The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\TV Media\TvmCore.dll".
• A file with an unknown location named "Tvm.exe".
• The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\TV Media\Tvm.exe".
• The file at "<$WINDIR>\jeired.dll".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If CleverIEHooker.Jeired uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

• Delete the registry key "{20EC3D2D-33C1-4C9D-BC37-C2D500688DA2}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\UrlSearchHooks".
• Delete the registry key "{20EC3D2D-33C1-4C9D-BC37-C2D500688DA2}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\UrlSearchHooks".
• Delete the registry value "TV Media" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Runonce\".
• Delete the registry value "TV Media" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce\".
• Delete the registry key "{018AE079-7601-46B3-B787-DE670ADFB41D}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
• Delete the registry key "CleverIEHooker.DLL" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "CleverIEHooker.CleverHook", plus associated values.
• Delete the registry key "{707E6F76-9FFB-4920-A976-EA101271BC25}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{E2C53CB8-66C5-44BD-8040-798AA7062F57}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• Delete the registry value "{707E6F76-9FFB-4920-A976-EA101271BC25}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\UrlSearchHooks\".
• Delete the registry value "{707E6F76-9FFB-4920-A976-EA101271BC25}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\URLSearchHooks\".
• Delete the registry key "{707E6F76-9FFB-4920-A976-EA101271BC25}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".

If CleverIEHooker.Jeired uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
