I suggest you do this: Open Spybot S&D > Click Help > Click Tutorial > Click the + in front of TeaTimer > take the time to review all of the information there.
Here are links to additional information that may help.

sorry to take up your time, but i have one more question. earlier you posted that some of the procedures you guys take to remove malware may not work on vista, why is that?
-
You would have to ask Microsoft that question, I understand a lot of software that runs on earlier Operating Systems including Windows XP will not run on Vista. Most of the tools we use are developed by freelance members of the malware community who supply us with those tools free of charge.
Thanks

oh no, im sorry but i dont know what happened. all the files i deleted with HJT earlier are back now!? i right clicked my toolbar and saw the emotrlq file again. it doesnt work like before but its still there. I scanned with spybot and it came clean, then i scanned with HJT and it found the following that i remember i deleted from before.
02-BHO:(no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A686-BA8D5E23EO45}-(no file)
03- Toolbar: emotrlq-{.....}-c\wINDOWS\EMOTRLQ.DLL(file missing)
21 - SSODL: admggxp-{.....}-(no file)
21 - SSODL:bdmnopx-{....} - (no file)
i believe these are the files i deleted from before, and now they are back. is it possible my computer itself somehow restored the files?i dont know why or how this happened. its possible my brother accidentally did something to bring them back i think, but could it be it came by itself or it wasnt deleted properly?
i was thinking of redoing the steps you told me to take earlier but i thought its best if i ask you first.
This is the full HJT log:

My guess would be TeaTimer had the stuff in memory, sometimes we have to uninstall Spybot and reinstall it, let's try this.
1) Windows Defender
Click on "Tools"
Click on "General Settings"
Scroll down to "Real-time protection options"
Uncheck "Turn on Real-time protection (recommended)"
Click "Save"
Make sure to turn your proection back on when you finish.
2) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
3) In some cases it's sometimes quite usefull to reset TeaTimer, once you've had it disabled to remove HijackThis entries :
Download ResetTeaTimer.bat
http://downloads.subratam.org/ResetTeaTimer.bat
Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer (and preventing TeaTimer to restore them upon reactivation).
4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://ie.redirect.hp.com/svs/rdr?TY...ion&pf=desktop

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
Restart and enable your security programs and let me know if that fixes the problem.
Thanks

ok thanks i think i know why this happened now. you see, before i didnt know much a bout tea timer so if it ever brought one of those pop ups about allowing or denying registry changes to stay safe id deny. i think this is what did it, i may have denied the deletion.
however, i was wondering, when i deleted the R0 and R1 werent those just like my homepage and stuff, so it shouldnt have mattered. and, more importantly, shouldnt i also delete
21 - SSODL: bdmnopx {...}- (no file)
because i think i remember reading somewhere recently that this is spyware or something.
thanks again.
-
Thanks for your questions, and I admit I do not use TeaTimer so I do not know as much about it as I should. I do know at times we have to remove the whole of Spybot to clean leftovers from the HJT log, including the R1/R0 items. The item you asked about, I must have missed, you can use HJT to remove it. It is just a dead line and no longer a threat to you as is the case of all of the items TeaTimer was blocking.
Thanks

ok thanks a lot ive just started learning about TT, and i think all my problems should be solved now, i appreciate your help.
