Description:

Stud.A installs a library in the system directory and also an Browser Helper Object which is started on every Internet Explorer startup. It connects to advertising servers without user consent.

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

• Delete the registry key "{095059B1-351D-4B64-8A6B-62677D3ED860}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry value "WebPrefix" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\".
• Delete the registry key "{095059B1-351D-4B64-8A6B-62677D3ED860}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\".
• Delete the registry key "{095059B1-351D-4B64-8A6B-62677D3ED860}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
• Delete the registry key "{59E2E1C4-03C5-4C9D-85CD-66B194215017}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{59E2E1C4-03C5-4C9D-85CD-66B194215017}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\".
• Delete the registry key "{59E2E1C4-03C5-4C9D-85CD-66B194215017}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
• Delete the registry key "{B76703B0-39AE-4463-B957-5457375A2C95}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{B76703B0-39AE-4463-B957-5457375A2C95}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\".
• Delete the registry key "{B76703B0-39AE-4463-B957-5457375A2C95}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
