Has anybody heard of "Program 3a44" ?

Recently, this error comes up when I shut down Windows (XP SP3):

Unable to end program - 3a44

Spybot & AVG don't seem worried by it but, naturally, I'm suspicious of mystery programs with strange names - especially when I can't find them on Google.

Anyone know what it is?

I would generate a HJT log for starters and post the log in the Malware removal forum.
