Description:

SmartKeystrokeRecorder installs to the program files directory and runs silently in the background. It records all keystrokes and the user's surfing and working behaviour. Additionally it is possible to track conversations made by instant messengers.

Removal Instructions:

Desktop:

Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

• Shortcuts named "Smart Keystroke Recorder.lnk" and pointing to "filesize=40960,md5=6A031B378C6FFB55BE49C548DFBF74B1".

Start Menu:

Please remove the following items from your start menu.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

• Items named "Buy Now!.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Smart Keystroke Recorder\order.url".
• Items named "Help.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Smart Keystroke Recorder\SmartKeystrokeRecorder.chm".
• Items named "Online Support.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Smart Keystroke Recorder\support.url".

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "BrowserSniffer.IESniffer", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "BrowserSniffer.IESniffer.1", plus associated values.
• Delete the registry key "{B6ADE150-743D-11D4-8141-00E029626F6A}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{B6ADE143-743D-11D4-8141-00E029626F6A}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "WebCSS", plus associated values.
• Delete the registry key "{B6ADE150-743D-11D4-8141-00E029626F6A}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
• Delete the registry key "Smart Keystroke Recorder" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".

If SmartKeystrokeRecorder uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
