trust issues

i do not trust any spyware removal site but this one but i need to remove a program called defenza can anybody direct me to a good tool for removal of this program ill place my trust in the ppl here as i have used spybot s&d for yrs now and never had a problem but my stepdad has this program on his computer. i have now got S&D on it but cannot get rid of his old trash program which i believe is spyware itself .. sorry if this is in wrong thread
