Aggressive Advertising aimed at fooling the user, to make him buy the product.

Advertising implies, that the users computer is beeing scanned and threats are beeing found.

Removal Instructions:

Desktop:

Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

• Shortcuts that include "<$PROGRAMFILES>\WinAntiSpyware 2006 Scanner\was6.exe" in the target they point to.

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

• Entries named "Salestart" and pointing to "*WinAntiSpyware*".
• Entries named "WinAntiSpyware 2006 Scanner" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\WinAntiSpyware 2006 Scanner\was6.exe".
• Entries named "WinAntiSpyware 2006 Scanner".

Important: There are more autorun entries that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Installed Software List:

• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "uwasfsd.CreationNotifier", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "uwasfsd.CreationNotifier.1", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "UWAS6.UWAS6", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "uwashellext.WASContextMenu", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "uwashellext.WASContextMenu.1", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "uwashellext.ShellHook", plus associated values.
