SpyBouncer has aggressive advertising and uses false positives to urge users to pay for the software. Company hides its address.

Supposed Functionality:

supposed to be a legit antispyware software.

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

• Entries named "Bouncer RunStartup" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Bouncer\liveupdate.exe *".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.

• Products that have a key or property named "{B8654183-8384-4A84-A22E-CA5A0BC35DCD}".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

• The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Bouncer\delmod.dll".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If SpyBouncer uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Folders:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these folders.

• The directory at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\SpyBouncer".
• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Bouncer".
• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Bouncer\help".
• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Bouncer\Logs".
• The directory at "<$WINDIR>\Installer\{B8654183-8384-4A84-A22E-CA5A0BC35DCD}".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If SpyBouncer uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify folders!

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

• Delete the registry key "{8C7AB65B-830C-442A-A71A-0E06BAF9CAF2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "delmod.DeleteMod", plus associated values.
• Delete the registry key "{F3A1BEC7-6D42-4A5D-ABDC-534669A087E1}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
• Delete the registry key "{AA33A373-5938-461B-9CAB-35B66F1975E0}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• Delete the registry key "3814568B483848A42AE2ACA5B03CD5DC" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Features\".
• Delete the registry key "3814568B483848A42AE2ACA5B03CD5DC" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\".
• Delete the registry value "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\SpyBouncer\" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\".
• Delete the registry value "<$PROGRAMS>\Bouncer\" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\".
• Delete the registry value "<$PROGRAMS>\Bouncer\help\" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\".
• Delete the registry value "<$PROGRAMS>\Bouncer\Logs\" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\".
• Delete the registry key "SRC" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".
• References to the file "C:\Program Files\Bouncer\Bouncer.exe" at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls\.
• References to the file "C:\Programme\Bouncer\Bouncer.exe" at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls\.
