Not Responding
Hi, I am new here but have been using Spybot Search & Destroy for years. I currently have Windows 8.1 and have the Spybot 2.4 version downloaded and installed but every time I run a scan and attempt to fix the stuff that shows up it says: "not responding" and I have to wait at least a good ten minutes for it to go through.
Is there a reason for this or something I can do to fix this? Any answers would be appreciated tremendously!

You could try not scanning for tracks to see if items might be fixed faster if the amount of items found during a scan is reduced.To do that,open Spybot start center,checkmark advanced user mode,click Settings(say yes to the prompt from UAC),then click the categories tab.Somewhere within the window,rightclick and select Spyware scan only.
