Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

• Entries named "AltnetPointsManager".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

• A file with an unknown location named "setup.exe".
• A file with an unknown location named "adm25.dll".
• A file with an unknown location named "admfdi.dll".
• A file with an unknown location named "admdloader.dll".
• A file with an unknown location named "admdata.dll".
• A file with an unknown location named "adm4.dll".
• A file with an unknown location named "asmps.dll".
• A file with an unknown location named "asm.exe".
• The file at "<$WINDIR>\smdat32a.sys".
• The file at "<$WINDIR>\smdat32m.sys".
• A file with an unknown location named "TopSearch.dll".
• The file at "c:\Program Files\Altnet\Download Manager\asmps.dll".
• The file at "c:\Program Files\Altnet\Download Manager\adm4.dll".
• The file at "c:\Program Files\Altnet\Download Manager\adm4005.exe".
• The file at "c:\Program Files\Altnet\Download Manager\admdata.dll".
• The file at "c:\Program Files\Altnet\Download Manager\admdloader.dll".
• The file at "c:\Program Files\Altnet\Download Manager\admfdi.dll".

• A file with an unknown location named "Points Manager.exe".
• The file at "<$DESKTOP>\Points Manager.exe.Manifest".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Altnet uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these folders.

• The directory at "c:\Program Files\Altnet".

• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "ADM25.ADM25", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "ADM25.ADM25.1", plus associated values.
• Delete the registry key "{1D3BCE37-7834-4579-8169-E67681420A98}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{258A3625-183B-4477-AEE2-EA54DF6D878D}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
• Delete the registry key "{676F6D1D-C559-42A9-860B-27C1477B7179}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "ADM4.ADM4", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "ADM4.ADM4.1", plus associated values.
• Delete the registry key "{DEF37997-D9C9-4A4B-BF3C-88F99EACEEC2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{9D4548CE-92FD-4C6C-AE7F-3DBE3BC763D8}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
• Delete the registry key "{BFF4F684-677E-44F4-8C74-1D575C950E10}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• Delete the registry key "{E813099D-5529-47F4-9B37-4AFAFCB00A43}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{AD5BC1F0-72D8-44B3-8E3D-8E8FECCE43FB}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
• Delete the registry key "{E813099D-5529-47F4-9B37-4AFAFCB00A43}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
• Delete the registry key "{B7156514-A76C-4545-9D5B-A4E1D02C7AEC}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{582AB125-1403-42FB-9EFB-198690BA1496}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
• Delete the registry key "{EDD3B3E9-3FFD-4836-A6DE-D4A9C473A971}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "TopSearch.TSLink", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "TopSearch.TSLink.1", plus associated values.
