first white list scan over 12 hours??

Hi i just upgraded windows xp to windows 7 32-bit, complete fresh install, started SB 2.0.8.0 and started the white list scan... 12 hours or more later it is still scanning... i think it might be in a loop it completes c:/program files... moves on to c:/windows... but now i check its back to c:/program files...
(128300 files scanned so far...)
(im scanning about 32Gb of files)
but not sure how many left to go

If it is normal to take this long maybe a warning should be added?
Or if its not normal shall i just cancel it?
