PU.AppOn is a bundled installer that installs free software together with optional adware or PUPS applications if the user does not decline the offer during the setup.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

• Delete the registry key "Apponic" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
• Delete the registry value "Readme.txt" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Apponic\".

If PU.AppOn uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
