Lphant malware

Hi crew! I've received help on this forum many times, and it looks like I need it again. My wife's daughter downloaded Lphant (I've since deleted it) and we have malware now. I will try to follow all instructions as posted, but this laptop is Windows 8, and I hate Windows 8.
