I recently downloaded spybotsd-2.0.8-beta6.exe and decided to "give back" by enabling an instance of the torrent on my system. While some uploading has been done, my instance of BitTorrent 7.6.1 has yet to make contact with the listed tracker, udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80. I've even turned off all other torrents and asked to update the tracker with no success. Does udp://tracker.openbittorent.com:80 in fact work and is it the tracker we should be using? Is there an alternative tracker?
Please try again or use the http download at http://www.spybotupdates.com/files/spybotsd162.exe We have no other tracker at the moment. :cowboy:

BTW, is there a torrent for spybotsd162.exe? I couldn't find a link to one.
:laugh:As spybotsd-2.0.8-beta6.exe has been replaced by spybotsd-2.0.9-rc1.exe, it is not safe to assume anything!
Please, note that the new tracker for spybotsd-2.0.8-beta6.exe, udp://tracker.ccc.de:80, did not seem to be responding any better than the last tracker did. I changed this to http://tracker.ccc.de:80/announce (a statefull TCP connection) and now it works fine! Is tracker.ccc.de listening on UDP?
The previous Spybot version had no torrent files. We do not offer an own tracker for our Spybot versions. We are checking new created torrent files before we are hosting them for the public. Yes, tracker.ccc.de is listening on UDP.
