Disc won't boot.
I successfully made a boot CD, but when I go to try and boot it, the system pops up a dialog:
---
SDWelcome.exe - System Error
The program can't start because
api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-0.dll is missing from your
computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Help? Thanks.

Disc won't boot
I'm getting the exact message. I use Boot CD Creator and it creates the ISO with no errors. I use ImgBurn to but it to a DVD and it completes with no errors. The desktop starts to boot and then freezes with:
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-|1-2-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
Has anyone found a fix to this???

Really?!
Here we are, a year later, same error. Seriously? Nobody?

Not Happy
How about ticket 2018020280000523 from Feb 2nd? Safer Networking sure processes payments fast. Support? Not so much. I'm about to refund this last subscription. This bug has been around for over a year.

Support. Or not.
Glad I'm a paying customer that gets support. Jerks.

Hello,
Did you open a support ticket?
Best regards.

Oh yeah. Sure did. Pretty sure it went straight to /dev/null with the rest of the support tickets people have been opening.

Hello sduensin,
I will ask about your support ticket. Feb 2nd 2018?
Best regards.

Finally!
I finally got an answer. Guess what? Like the busted installer, making a CD doesn't actually work. How long as Windows 10 been the "current" release? This still isn't fixed. And it's not even slated to be fixed in 2.7.
Unless something massive happens, I won't be renewing my Spybot licenses.
