Possible Malware, Spybot Install Crashes

I'm having problems with my system that I suspect may be malware-related, but neither Norton 360 or Adaware have turned up anything, and I'm unable to install Spybot. When I attempt to install it, it gets almost to the end of installation, then crashes my system.

Other symptoms I'm facing:

• Constant windows alerts about DHCP problems and that "Host processes for Windows Services stopped working and was closed".
• Problems connecting (and staying connected) to a network (both my ISP and other networks). Even when I am connected, the Network and Security center continues to mark my connection as "Identifying".
• Problems with programs trying to connect to update, including LiveUpdate, Adaware update, etc.
• Certain sites failing to connect, including Spybot's homepage
• I uninstalled Norton 360 as one of their proposed solutions for fixing the LiveUpdate connection, now I'm unable to reinstall, in spite of following all their projected solutions.
