Description:

The installed search toolbar saves all entered keywords in a registry key which can be read out when needed.

Removal Instructions:

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

• Delete the registry key "Quick Access Toolbar" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
• Delete the registry key "{1813785D-9CFB-45A0-9CBC-3E84F7A8471F}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "GSearchTB.GSearchTBClass", plus associated values.
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "GSearchTB.GSearchTBClass.1", plus associated values.
• Delete the registry key "{41EC1928-7982-4E1F-B181-8E43B5E0C3F2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
• Delete the registry key "{F8FB8AC9-3FCF-41B4-AAD5-5F1050CD1679}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• Delete the registry value "{1813785D-9CFB-45A0-9CBC-3E84F7A8471F}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".

If GSearchTB.QuickAccessToolbar uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
