Description:

Doctor-Adware claims to be an antispyware solution. When it is installed on the computer it shows a lot of harmless cookies, browser helper objects and autorun entries as high risk spyware problems. These entries has been installed by Doctor-Adware itself. When the user wants to fix this false positives he has to purchase a licence.

Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

• Shortcuts named "Doctor Adware.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Doctor Adware\DoctorAdware.exe".
• Shortcuts named "Doctor Adware.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Doctor Adware\*.exe".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.

• Products that have a key or property named "Doctor Adware".

• Delete the registry key "Doctor Adware" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Local AppWizard-Generated Applications\".
• Delete the registry key "DoctorAdware.exe" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\".

If Doctor-Adware uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
