The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "TIBS" manually.

Description:

Due to required information not stated and illegal installation practices, like .chm exploit this dialer is to be considered illegal. Also, additional software may be installed prior to installation of a TIBS dialer without user consent.

Supposed Functionality:

TIBS is a content dialer.

Removal Instructions:

Desktop:

Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

• Shortcuts that include "Wow Dialer.exe" in the target they point to.
• Shortcuts that include "WebSiteViewer\??????.exe" in the target they point to.
• Shortcuts that include "WebSiteViewer\109998.exe" in the target they point to.
• Shortcuts that include "WebSiteViewer\109998.exe /ac:109998 /sk: /lc: /ul" in the target they point to.
• Shortcuts that include "WebSiteViewer\122283.exe /ac:122283 /sk:live1 /lc: /ul" in the target they point to.

Start Menu:

Please remove the following items from your start menu.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

• Items that include "Wow Dialer.exe" in the target they point to.
• Items that include "WebSiteViewer\??????.exe" in the target they point to.
• Items that include "WebSiteViewer\109998.exe" in the target they point to.
• Items that include "WebSiteViewer\109998.exe /ac:109998 /sk: /lc: /ul" in the target they point to.
• Items that include "WebSiteViewer\122283.exe /ac:122283 /sk:live1 /lc: /ul" in the target they point to.

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

• Entries named "SysTray" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\paytime.exe".
• Entries named "PayTime" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\paytime.exe".
• Entries named "Services" and pointing to "<$WINDIR>\services.exe $".
• Entries named "PayTime" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\paytime.exe".
• Entries named "tibs3" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\tibs3.exe".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

• A file with an unknown location named "109998.exe".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If TIBS uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Folders:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these folders.

• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\PayPerViewDialer".
• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\WebSiteViewer".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If TIBS uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify folders!

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

• Delete the registry key "{5530D356-0063-41B9-B20D-E9D799E8D907}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• Delete the registry key "{A0269420-A638-4509-889C-8FC3CC85DA7E}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{5FF31463-6856-4604-BEE9-D84C92F60BA4}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
• Delete the registry key "{D88DA98D-48BA-4116-96AB-77C38EAE487F}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
• Delete the registry key "{A0269420-A638-4509-889C-8FC3CC85DA7E}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
• Delete the registry key "{2456741B-1567-7682-A355-939856783603}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\".
• Delete the registry key "TIBSPayPerViewDialer" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
• Delete the registry key "WebSiteViewer" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
• Delete the registry key "{50A28604-52F2-11D6-8F0F-5254AB11D5C2}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\".
• A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "LoaderCon.LoaderCon", plus associated values.
• Delete the registry key "{1E89F686-B78D-4C85-9EFC-3474516E3FE2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{1E89F684-B78D-4C85-9EFC-3474516E3FE2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
• Delete the registry key "tibsloader.EXE" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".

If TIBS uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
