IWantThis gets installed beside the Babylon toolbar or might be bundled with other adware.

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.

• Products that have a key or property named "I Want This".

Folders:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these folders.

• The directory at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\I Want This\Chrome".
• The directory at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\I Want This".
• The directory at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\45181AD5-BAB0-7891-A51D-E3E5F1CF5FE1".
• The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\I Want This".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If IWantThis uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify folders!

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

• Delete the registry key "{11111111-1111-1111-1111-110011221158}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
• Delete the registry key "{11111111-1111-1111-1111-110011221158}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Settings\".
• Delete the registry key "{11111111-1111-1111-1111-110011221158}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
• Delete the registry key "{11111111-1111-1111-1111-110011221158}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\PreApproved\".
• Delete the registry key "I Want This" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
• Delete the registry key "mpfapcdfbbledbojijcbcclmlieaoogk" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Google\Chrome\Extensions\".
• Delete the registry key "mpfapcdfbbledbojijcbcclmlieaoogk" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Google\Chrome\Extensions\".
• Delete the registry value "(Default)" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\PreApproved\{11111111-1111-1111-1111-110011221158}\".
• Delete the registry value "AppName" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Low Rights\ElevationPolicy\{11111111-1111-1111-1111-110011221158}\".

If IWantThis uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
