I adjusted the settings in Chrome, as instructed, although I didn't see any instance of Yellow Adblocker referenced in the settings--nor another popup "albumsuper.info/passthrough??url= .....". However, I have used Chrome for some random searches to test its performance and it seems to be responding normally thus far.
Thank you Ken545 for your time and expertise in helping me with this difficult issue, very much appreciated!

Thats great, use your browser for a day or two and post back and let me know if its still ok, if not we can dig deeper if need be

Unfortunately the problem resurfaced. When searching in Chrome and selecting a safe website, a popup from 'Ads by Yellow Adblocker' showed up again, advising I had a virus and to contact their company to resolve. Alt F4 did not close it and I had to go through the task mgr in order shut it off. The next time I opened Chrome and started to type on the Google search box a popup showing as "albumsuper.info/passthrough?url=.....etc."

From what i have been reading all the programs we have run should have removed this pest, this pest most likely came bundled with a program you recently downloaded and installed , think back, what did you install prior to this happening ?? If you can think of what it was look in Program and Features in the Control Panel and uninstall it
- Open IE
- Go to Tools> Internet Options > Advanced Tab
- Reset Internet Explorer Setting
- Reset
- This will take a few seconds
- Close IE and then reopen it and see if it helped
- Open Firefox
- Click on Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox to its default state
- Click the Chrome menu http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c3...ps2e55f676.jpgon the browser toolbar.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down to Show advanced settings...
- Down on the bottom you will see an option for RESET BROWSER SETTINGS
- Click on it and it will set Chome back to defaults
Then reboot your system and give all your browsers a try

My Chrome browser seems to be working fine. I found an extension in Chrome for Yellow Adblocker and deleted it. Thus far no more evidence of unwanted popups. Once again, thank you for your time and expertise!

I had previously missed looking under 'extensions' in Chrome--my version of it doesn't list it under Settings nor History. But problem now looks to be resolved and very much appreciate all the time and effort you spent with me on solving this issue!!! Thanks so much Ken!
