Renaming the file worked, however my networking is still being blocked by the badness. Can I use my laptop and install MBAM to an 8GB USB Drive, then update and move the drive to the infected...

There is another post in the forum that indicates another uses was able to get MBAM to work by renaming the exe file. Do you think that may work in my case? As per your instructions...I'm asking...
